Material Input The material input of PET bottles is made in bales onto a loading conveyor. Only the binding wires have to be loosened and removed. The bales disband themselves due to the elasticity of the bottles into loose groups. With regard to the following washing plant ML 1400 it doesn’t matter if single bottles are wedged into each other.

Crushing and Washing The washing plant ML 1400 is loaded by an elevating conveyor. The ML 1400 crushes the material and cleans it by the mutual friction of the flakes. Paper and impurities are lead away by the washing water. The flakes are emptied into the discharge funnel of ML 1400. From there the swim/sink trough is charged by a dewatered cleaning screw.

Subsequent Cleaning and Drying The sunk flakes are lead to a turbo washer and a friction centrifuge by means of a dewatered screw, where they are cleaned and dried again. From the centrifuge the dried flakes are pneumatically conveyed to the mixing silo. From the mixing silo the flakes are bagged for dispatch. |
